Theresa began her career at Purdue University, her alma mater, where she held a variety of roles from internal auditor to associate controller to finance lead for an ERP implementation. She joined the University of Utah originally in 2007 as the controller and then later left to join the University of Miami. She has also held roles with Huron Consulting and rejoined the U as the AVP in January 2021. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, cooking, and playing music.
