Financial Services recently released their inaugural annual report, highlighting a successful 2023 – 2024 fiscal year. Some highlights include:

• The move from 16,000 square feet to the hybrid-first workspace of 9,000 square feet.
• Purchasing transactions increased by 52.7% from 2017 and 91% of those transactions were processed in one day or less – an 18% increase since FY 2017.
• To help streamline the payment processes on campus, 45% of all checks issued on campus were done so electronically. That’s a 16% increase in FY 2017.
• To help keep Financial Services running, Financial Services Technology Support (FSTS) had a 99.9% up-time on systems.

The report notes that the FS Training team has developed 11 fully online training courses with a 92% satisfaction rate. Evidence of Review, Intro to Management Reports, Accounting at the U and Accounting Basics were the top training courses completed across campus.

Additionally, Financial Services has been working to create and update websites throughout the division. To date, 10 web pages have been launched, including UShop, PCard, Travel and Purchasing.
