The Office of the Chief Financial Officer welcomes Kylie Roos to the organization as Senior Director of Financial Strategy and Planning. He will report to Deputy CFO Jason Atuaia and begins on April 1.

Roos has over a decade of experience at the University of Utah within Auxiliary Services, where he has played a key role in strengthening financial reporting, stewardship and planning in support of the institution’s growth. He has been a trusted partner to operational leaders and has contributed to the continued modernization of auxiliary services over that time.

“Kylie has led with a collaborative approach, professionalism, transparency…[and] with a great sense of humor,” said Senior Associate Vice President for Auxiliary Services and Operations Jennifer Reed.

As the Senior Director of Financial Strategy and Planning, Roos will lead financial strategy and long-range planning across the university’s administrative enterprise – supporting alignment, transparency and decision-making across key institutional functions.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kylie to the Office of the Chief Financial Officer,” said Atuaia. “I’m looking forward to the leadership and perspective he’ll bring.”
