The University of Utah’s Procurement team has been awarded the National Procurement Institute’s (NPI) Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award.
This annual award highlights institutions who are innovating in the field of Procurement, not only with practical documented work, but also leadership and contributions that further advance the public procurement profession, according to the NPI.
Members of the university’s Procurement team had to complete an extensive application process to be considered for the award. Other organizations who submitted for consideration included counties, cities, school districts, and other universities.
“This award is a national benchmark of how University of Utah Procurement is doing in terms of best practices and helps us mitigate the risks in a very complex profession,” said Senior Director of Procurement and Supply Chain Terri O’Toole.
Congratulations to the Procurement team on this impressive achievement!
